Camping Ca’Savio brings Airstreams to the Adriatic Coast
Luxury camping is coming to the Italian Adriatic coast, thanks to a fleet of iconic new Airstreams being unveiled at the picturesque Camping Ca’Savio near Venice.
The six stunning Airstreams – each like a boutique hotel room on wheels and available to rent as of 25 April, 2015 – are based right alongside the unspoilt beach that stretches the length of the picturesque campsite, which opened in 1961 and attracts visitors from across the world.
From the door of the multi-award-winning caravan, it takes just 30 minutes to reach one of the world’s most romantic cities – or for a gentler pace, the boat to Venice is just a 5km bike ride away, in Punta Sabbioni. This glorious 40-minute trip passes the gardens of Giardini della Biennale, across St Mark’s basin and past St George’s Island, before dropping visitors off close to Doge’s Palace.
